Wow! Just wow! The Battle For New Orleans was certainly a jaw dropper. It was revealed that Francesca was not a human after all but a werewolf! A werewolf from the mob family Guerrero that used to do business with the Original vampires back in the day until most of them were wiped out at some point. I think that disqualifies her as leader of the human faction. But anyway, Hayley is going into early labor and Klaus is weakened from the power of the moon rings (that of course a witch tricked him into giving his blood you'd think he'd learn by now).

| Elijah kills like it's a waltz |
Elijah was on fire last night. I tweeted "When Elijah kills it's a waltz I love it", which many agreed with. Hope he didn't mess up his suit too much but then he was surprised by Francesca's sneak attack. Then Hayley was taken by the witches. No one takes Elijah's girl and lives but what would happen if someone killed her? A part of me believes that the writers wouldn't kill off Hayley just yet. She's become a big part of the Original Family and since Rebekah left town, the Originals need another bad ass female in their ranks. I feel Hayley will make it out okay but what about the Mikaelson baby?

| Betrothals are stupid... |
Season 1 was centered around the miracle Mikaelson baby, more about how much she would affect everything: Klaus's humanity, the witches' apocalypse, etc. So I don't think the writers would be so bold as to just kill off Klaus and Hayley's daughter upon her arrival into the chaos that is The French Quarter at the moment. Also I hate the French Quarter witches enough as it is (Monique most of all as Hayley stated she's a psychotic bitch). Agnes already tried to murder the baby in utero but killing the baby after it comes screaming into the world would really seal my hatred of ALL witches.

Then there's Mikael's possible return. If Hayley and the Baby survive then they will have Mikael to deal with. There were hints that one of the Original brothers would end up daggered in a coffin. I have a strong feeling that it will be Elijah. Daniel Gillies has another show he is a main character on called Saving Hope, which played on NBC in the US but was cancelled. However the show was renewed for a season 2 in Canada (which shows how much Canada loves Daniel Gillies more than the US excluding Originals fans of course). Also he's directing a film that stars his wife Rachel Leigh Cook and they just had their own little girl recently. So we may be without Elijah again for a few episodes of Season 2 but hopefully not for long.

I just know that the writers won't just kill off the Mikaelson Miracle Baby. It has so much to offer to the story given it's so valuable: part vampire, part werewolf, part witch and immortal. Hayley also would not be killed off so quickly. TVD fans didn't like Hayley but since she's been on The Originals fans have of the show have warmed up to her. Myself being a brown eyed brunette I feel a kinship to Phoebe Tonkin and her character who is a bad ass wolf mama. The big twist I see is Mikael coming back to life and Genevieve (and hopefully the other 2 Harvest girls) being killed off. Marcel will survive I feel is a definite and Davina sticking around then Cami becoming the leader of the Human Faction and us discovering what the big bad weapon against the supernaturals that Father K was hiding this entire time. Something big is going to happen. I don't know what it is but I feel it will leave us sweating until season 2.
