Revolution: The Bass & Rachel Conundrum

I knew it. I knew they had sex...

               You know I always felt that "have sex or kill you" vibe from Bass and Rachel. There's a fine line between love and hate and after last night's episode my suspicions were confirmed. Apparently Rachel and Bass hooked up when he was still a despotic dictator in Philadelphia. I hate to say it but I'm not surprised. Bass has that womanizer reputation and Rachel... well you know. As Gene put it, Rachel has a talent for meeting the wrong kind of guys. 

Rachel's seriously messed up

          Actually this new discovery has cleared up so much on why they spit acid at each other all the time. It's not just because Rachel blames Monroe for Danny's death but also because no one could hate you more than an ex-lover. But it really also proves that Miles and Bass really DO share everything. Rachel's excuse for that infamous night was that she was Monroe's prisoner. Yet Bass fires back, "No one forced you." 

They'll all go to hell together

          Here's how I imagine it went down. It could have been after Miles left. Rachel was physically and emotionally battered and having hate sex (yes I said hate sex because that's the only sex these two would have) with Miles's best friend seemed like perfect revenge. Then that's when Bass decided to upgrade Rachel's living arrangements from a dank bleak dungeon to a nice feather bed with a view. Makes sense. 

They're both the devils on Miles's shoulders

         Rachel and Monroe are both broken toxic people but they have one thing in common: they both care deeply about Miles. That's the only glue that keeps them from really murdering each other. After their heated fight and hate kiss, they found Miles's jacket covered in blood. Rachel was ready to say Miles was dead but Monroe swooped in to give her hope. 

People who shipped these 2 are certainly disappointed

            I don't know if Bass will try to iniate another kiss (just to get Miles pissed) or that Rachel will come clean (before Bass gets a chance to ruin her relationship) but either way these two will continue to have that "Sex or Kill" vibe.
