Almost Human: Favorite Scenes: Arrhythmia

Insert crack about missing kidney in bathtub of ice here

Sorry this took so long. Fan campaigns can be so time consuming but I hope the labor will be worth it. Back to the subject at hand, I'm going to tell you my top favorite scenes from this episode.

They cancelled this show?! OMG!

It's mayhem in the hospital where in the future Health Care still sucks. I liked how Dorian and John started off their day with the usual arguments and brotherly bonding. Dorian issues John a ticket for running a red light. John says Dorian should break a rule or two it'll "look good on you". Couldn't agree more, John, which brings us to my top favorite scene: double mint Dorian.

"You were designed to be a cop?"

Dorian just wants to be a cop. Not because he was built to be one but because he believes that he was meant to be a cop and seeing a fellow DRN doing janitor work kind of awakened old wounds of when he was pushed aside by society. The scene where Dorian takes it upon himself to take his fellow DRN for a ride along was not only funny but John just couldn't really understand why Dorian would take him. John said Dorian should break a few rules well Dorian is just following John's advice. Dorian even gave John's car a few starts. Dorian could have just driven the car remotely but he didn't want take John's choice like he was decommissioned without giving his opinion.

"Uh-Uh Not taking the wonder twins on a ride along"

Next favorite scene is John asks why they are taking "Mr. Fix It" on a ride along. Dorian explains that when he was decommissioned he hoped (practically prayed) that someone would wake him up again. John was that person. All Dorian wants is to be there for a fellow DRN that people gave up on. Dorian was blessed with a second chance, he just wanted to give a second chance to a fellow cop.

These 2 are just gorgeous

This is small but I loved the scene where John and Dorian were interrogating the coroner Henry. John caught sight of a synthetic leg in a pile of synthetic limbs and I couldn't help but see John go all dark. His face seemed haunted. Then he turns around and continues intimidating Henry and the lighting and John's voice just made me think: "Wow he's hot!"

We're related!

The scenes between Dorian and the other DRN are very sympathetic and touching but the scene I loved best was when Dorian took the DRN back to the hospital. Dorian took back all memories of the android's cases except for one. This memory was about a boy named Phillip that he rescued and who hugged him in thanks. Dorian wanted to leave his fellow copy a memory of human connection which seemed to make the DRN happy. The DRN seemed to have been suffering from PTSD but the memory of the boy was the only happy memory that made his work as an officer worth the mental torture. That he did good despite what people would say about DRNs being defective.

"What is keeping Dorian?" You'll see, John...

Next week I'll discuss my favorite scenes from "Simon Says", which is one of my favorite episodes.
