The 100: The Finale & What to Expect Next Season

So we'll all go to hell together then?

The finale had me in knots it was so incredible! So many feels that I probably haven't felt since the Dominion season 1 finale! There were a few questions hanging in the air and there was some heart breaking Bellarke moments. Let's discuss the finale and what to expect next season.

     See You In Hell!

Time to pop Pops!

Clarke made a lot of hard choices in the season finale leaving an even darker mark on her soul. Of course Octavia didn't mind reminding Clarke of that. I would like to point out that Octavia wasn't in charge and if she was she would find it hard to do the things Clarke had to do to save her people. In fact, I think Octavia would appreciate Clarke more if she spent a day in her shoes.

You can't even trust your friends

Indra surprised me. Every time there was a reach across the aisle she promptly slapped that hand away. Indra really hated Lincoln for his so called betrayal but helping him escape showed real progress and her admiration of his dedication to the woman he loves. I admire Lincoln's honor and loyalty. He's the kind of guy you want on your side.

You brought this on yourself, Cage

I had mixed feelings about Dante's death. He seemed like a good guy. He helped the 100 out but then he turned on them. He still refused to go to the surface feeling himself undeserving because the ends didn't justify the means but he went all martyr about it. I understand why he turned I'm just saying I have a hatred/love for him. Now about Cage, he starts harvesting bone marrow from not just the 100 but the people from the Ark. It really twisted my stomach when I saw him walk through all of those happy kids and people then go into a dungeon where he drilled holes into people like they were animals. Well Cage got what was coming to him. Just when you thought Cage was going to get away without a scratch, Lincoln comes charging in. We left Cage handless though I doubt Lincoln left him alive especially since he injected him with that red drug. But you never know...

The lady won't go quietly

This brought up an excellent moral question. Faced with the safety of your people and the blood of innocents would you pull the trigger? Personally I would have done what Clarke did. I would have felt horrible about it but Cage and the doctors didn't leave Clarke much choice. I really loved what Abby said, "Maybe there are no good guys." That's EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING this whole season! There are no good or bad guys in this show. There's just people who go too far. If you think about it this whole conflict could have been avoided if Mount Weather had allied with the Ark. The Ark would have donated bone marrow and mixed with the Mountain people and they could have stood against the Grounders. But no, instead Cage (and Dante because he also had the option of contacting the Ark once it landed) decided it wasn't worth a thought.

    Bellarke!

Oh god! Bellarke!!!

Okay I was torn between Clexa and Bellarke (there are times I still am) but Lexa's betrayal drove me back to Bellarke. It doesn't seem to matter what Clarke does, Bellamy is behind her all the way. There were certain moments where Bellamy had a disappointed look on his face when Clarke killed Dante and thought about filling the remaining clean floor with radiation. However, Bellamy and Clarke "Thelma and Louise'd" it. They pulled that lever together. In the end Bellamy didn't want Clarke to bear the burden of guilt of killing all of those people, some of them kids. After the missile hitting Tondc this puts half of the load on Bellamy.

Don't go, Clarke! Bellamy needs you!

When Bellamy was begging Clarke to come inside I was dying! My heart was jumping then it sank when Clarke decided to leave. She kissed him goodbye (on the cheek damn!) then left. I'm certain the writers and producers are working up to when this couple finally comes together romantically. It'll be worth the wait as this only affirms that Bellamy and Clarke are perfect for each other. They would be the ultimate power couple!

     Speculations on Next Season

They Thelma and Louise'd it!

Not sure if we'll see much of Lexa next season as Alycia Debnam-Carey was signed as a series regular on AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead". Still some debate on whether or not the producers of The 100 will be able to get a hold of her. Hope they do!

Octavia has gone full native

Clarke is on her own now but I expect she'll run into some Mount Weather survivors; mainly Emerson. Man, I hate that guy! He's so smug in believing he was on "the good team" which is why it would be perfect to have him run into Clarke and seek retribution. I want to see these two characters interact next season but it'll be more intense than when it was when Clarke and Anya had their trip together.

I wish Siri was this attractive

Jaha has reached the Promise Land! Or... maybe Wonderland and Jaha has tripped further down the rabbit hole with Murphey taking a side trip. Murphey finds a pretty nice bomb shelter complete with classic records and liquor. He finds a sort of snuff film where it looks like some rich guy, perhaps the guy who owns that house on the hill, kills himself after saying he was responsible for ending the world. He said "she" got the launch codes... could it be that AI Alie? Is that her name? Then there's that war head sitting in the house. The AI says Jaha sent it? I don't remember that. But it opens a new mystery: how did the world end in a hail of nuclear missiles? Also some new questions: what does the AI have in store for the world with that war head and how does Jaha fit into all of this. With Jaha's newfound faith I would be a bit worried leaving him alone with that war head.

Listen up, Jackass, I'm going to give you to the count of 3

We have to wait until next season to find out the answers to all of these questions. In the mean time we can spread the word of The 100 to get a bigger fandom.
