Revolution: Satisfy Your Withdrawal With The 100

No Revolution? Well here's something for the withdrawal

I know many Revolution fans are suffering some huge withdrawal from their favorite show being cancelled before it's time but I do have a way to ease your pain if only a little. There's this one show called The 100 which airs on The CW network. I think Revos will find this show appealing because there are many similarities between The 100 and Revolution.

Did they just go with the first name that came to them?

        1. A plucky blond heroine with an Electra-Complex with a boy's name and a heart of gold and will of steel that leads the pack (Clarke).

Abby you got some explaining to do

        2. Same plucky blond has issues with mother who's mistakes cost people their lives. Real friction here although Abby isn't as crazy as Rachel or in love with anyone's brother (given the strict 1 child per family rule that is).

        3. Post Apocalypse due to man's own stupidity.

        4. On Earth humans without power revert to old world methods and ways of living while scientists live in a fully operational facility cut off from the others depriving them of power.

Medic!
        5. Survival, Anarchy, Disease, and Death are everyday struggles.

        6. Many guns are fired.

        7. Mass murder.

Choose your ships

Of course there are some differences.

         1. Some humans escaped to space while others were forced to adapt and survive Earth's new alien terrain.

Putting the fate of mankind's survival in these kids' hands?
Great idea :P
         2. Adults sending hormonal, "criminal" teens to save the human race and rebuild life on Earth.

         3. The kids are in charge.

This is brutal!

         4. Mutated animals.

         5. Mutants who are cannibals! (Think Reefers from Firefly but grosser looking).

Bring us your huddled masses!

I know there will never be a show that will ever replace our Revolution, but it helps to ease the pain by moving on to a new show that's a kindred spirit. The 100 was only given 16 episodes for its second season but that's an improvement over last season which had only 13. So 3 more episodes! The second season of The 100 premieres October 22 at 9pm on Wednesday. Be sure to tweet live!

Bellarke!
