The 100: What Raven's Presence Means For Finn & Clarke

Trouble in paradise
Finn and Clarke seemed like the perfect couple. They got along well and Clarke felt that Finn was the only one who shared her vision about saving the Ark. They consummated their relationship and Clarke felt on top of the world... until Finn's girlfriend, the fiery mechanical genius Raven, fell from the sky. Now that Raven knows about Clarke and Finn you have to wonder what will happen next?

The other shoe is about to drop

Finn never mentioned that he had a girlfriend. His defense was he thought he would never see Raven again but isn't that the usual excuse guys give when they're caught with their hand in the cookie jar? Anyway Raven eventually found out that something happened between Finn and Clarke. She's not stupid but I can see that she's the only one really present in the relationship as Finn seems to have moved on. However, Clarke isn't buying that Finn really cares about her as he had lead her to believe.

Clarke's moral center is shaken
Yes torture always works doesn't it

I'm just not into you anymore

Yet I see this obstacle for the Finn and Clarke relationship for my favorite ship Bellarke as an opportunity to take off. Recently Clarke and Bellamy have been getting along strangely. They both have that gene that makes them leaders or they both have that trait to become the alphas in the pack, which is why they would make the perfect power couple. They're starting to come together on a few things and Bellamy doesn't seem to be keeping Clarke out of the loop anymore.

Here are some sparks...

Last episode when Bellamy was interrogating the Grounder, he had no problem letting Clarke in on it. Clarke also let Bellamy torture the Grounder even though her moral core was screaming NO! I saw a moment between Bellamy and Clarke at the end of the episode. It was a small hand touch but it was a sign that maybe the writers would play with a Bellarke hook up or a romance.

...those sparks may ignite a passion

Clarke saw in Finn an ally who helped her keep her morality in tact but now that she knows her mother got her father killed and that Raven is here to stay, Clarke feels sort of alone and Bellamy is strangely becoming someone she can rely on. Of course I see that being with Bellamy would shake Clarke's moral code but she feels like she's breaking and Bellamy knows what that feels like. Bellamy is going through an emotional break with his sister Octavia. They have been having the worst fights lately so Bellamy turning to Clarke for some comfort doesn't seem strange. Bellarke looks like a possibility but we'll see if Finn decides to grow some balls and break it off with Raven to show Clarke that he really does want to be with her. For now, Bellamy and Clarke will take solace in each other.

This is awkward...
