It's the season 1 finale of the cult classic Almost Human. I call it a cult classic because of how quickly I saw viewers take to the show. Already fans call themselves "Humaniacs"! While there was a severe fear of premature cancellation, there has been some cause for cautious optimism. Numbers for the show have remained steady while also steadily rising despite it running up against the Olympics. Even FOX executive Kevin Reilly has been recently talking about a possible renewal for Almost Human. So I decided my thoughts were not enough and instead decided to ask fans their reasons for loving this sci-fi buddy cop procedural.

Kurt Schilling I really hope that this is renewed. It's rare that you get a great combination of great plots, witty dialogue, superior acting and fine special effects that are believable.
Brian Rittmeyer Season, not series finale. Dorian's service was renewed; the show should be as well.
Sam O'Connor Why do I love Almost Human? It's an intelligent, darkly funny, sarcastically endearing show that proves that even with technology humans are still human. I love the camaraderie between the leads, and the premise of the show as a whole. It's a show that makes you think, makes you hurt, makes you want more.

Gerry Parkins I love AH because the characters all fit so perfectly, it's just awesome - the snarking is second to none and Karl and Michael just rock my world every Monday night [they make Mondays bearable] - followed closely by Maldonado and the hilarious Rudy! My Mondays will be ruined without MX interaction!

Alex Iniguez This show brings movie level quality to the TV sci-fy genre and a quiet challenge to our preconceived notions about the future. The acting is great, the characters are fantastic and the mysteries from week to week are compelling.
Robin Gibbs I love Almost Human because of the great storyline. Each week it digs a little deeper into someone's past and just makes you eager to watch the next one to find out what's going on. That and Karl and Michael are so supremely enjoyable to look at. (Too far?) Hope not, because it's my favorite show and will be as long as it's on.

Sarah Heming Everyone covered most of why I love it, so I'll just add that the little glimpses of the future remind me of growing up watching the Jetsons! I love the imagination that went into thinking about the minute details of what our future could look like.

Andraya Brennan Doyle I love Wymans vision of the future: not too far out there believeable and the focus on male characters John & Dorian. Their different outlooks on the tech world they both inhabit. A strong female captain Maldonado and the fact it isnt all about romance/love story/will they wont they.
